PEUGOT 908 by Scalextric (SCAC2897)

The stunning Peugeot 908 HDi FAP was designed to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Le Mans Series. The Peugeots dominated the 2007 Le Mans series winning all six races. The team qualified first and third for the 2007 24 Hours of Le Mans with the #8 car finishing second behind the race winning Audi R10 TDi.

In the 2008 Le Mans series, the #7 and #8 cars secured four race wins in the five race season. At the 24 Hours of Le Mans race the three 908s qualified first, second and third. During a rain-soaked night at the race, the Audi R10 was able to take the lead and go on to win their seventh Le Mans. However, the Peugeots finished an impressive second, third and fifth.

The Scalextric Model
The car is modelled on the #7 2008 livery as raced at Le Mans by Nicolas Minassian, Marc Gené and Jacques Villeneuve.

The Peugeot 908 endurance racing car is a welcome addition to the range, enhancing the current Scalextric Le Mans offerings which include Porsche, Audi, Aston Martin and Ferrari.

The model is of the highest quality with a super smooth, blemish free silver livery and crisp, clear logos.

This Digital Plug Ready (DPR) car can be converted for use with the Scalextric Digital range in under sixty seconds using the C8515 Digital Plug. The car features adjustable Magnatraction™ positions, quick change guide braid plate and front & rear lights.
